Terms of Service
Effective October 8, 2026
Party Mail is a small, privately run service for sending party invitations and collecting replies. Using it means you agree to these terms.
Hosts
Host accounts are created by invitation. You are responsible for the events you create, the words and pictures you put in them, and the people you send them to. Send invitations only to people you know or who would expect to hear from you. Party Mail is for personal gatherings and may not be used for advertising or bulk mail.
Do not upload anything you have no right to use, anything unlawful, or anything meant to harass someone. Keep your passkey to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
Guests
Reply with your own details, or with the details of the people you are answering for. The host sees what you send. The Privacy Policy describes what is stored.
The service
Party Mail is offered free of charge and as it is. It may be changed, interrupted, or shut down, and an event or account that breaks these terms may be removed. We back the service up and take care with it, but we make no promise that it will always be available or that nothing will ever be lost. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose; the guest list can be downloaded from each event.
To the extent the law allows, the person running Party Mail is not liable for losses that come from using it, including a missed invitation, a lost reply, or a party that did not go as planned.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Continuing to use Party Mail after that means you accept them.
